Let Us Introduce Ourselves
We’re Global Edutopia, and we love stories because they take you to new places and adventures without leaving home.
In our stories, you’ll meet characters from far-away countries, some you’ve never even visited! You’ll hear stories so old your grandparents’ grandparents probably heard them, and you’ll learn what some very important people have done to make the world a better place.
Curious? Good! We have plenty to show you.
What You’ll Find
On our website, you’ll find:
Stories and activities for kids like you. Some you can even show to your teacher for a fun activity.
Myths and folktales, which are stories from other cultures, with clever and brave characters you’ve never heard of.
Real hero stories about people who changed the world through science, courage, and storytelling.
Books, art, and videos you’ll love.
Why We Tell Stories
- What’s your favorite story?
- Did you learn something from it?
- Do you use it to scare your friends?
- Do you like it because it makes you feel special?
Stories are how we share what we know, what we’ve seen, and what we’ve imagined with friends, family, and other people we meet.
Stories are how we learn about the world, other countries, other cultures, and how things work and why they work that way.
We believe the best way to learn something is through a fun story rather than just sitting and watching a video, because yes, videos are fun, but you forget about them fast.
Stories stick with you.
They follow you; they help you see the world in a different way.
Share Your Stories
If you have a story you want to tell us, a drawing you want to share, or want us to talk about a character you like, talk to your parents, your teachers, or any grown-up you know who also loves stories, and tell them to send us a message.
We’d love to hear your story!
Send us a messageFAQs (Questions People Ask Us A Lot)
Are all your stories for children?
Not all; we have stories for grown-ups too. You have to ask your parents if you can read them, though.
Can I send a story or drawing?
Yes! With your parents' or guardians' help, you can send us your drawings and stories. Just click here.
Who chooses the stories?
His name is Fereydoun Kian. He’s the guy who created Global Edutopia and a great storyteller himself. You can call him Ferey, though.
Are the myths and real hero stories true?
All of our real hero stories are true! They’re not superheroes that fly around, but rather normal people, like you and your friends, who changed the world by helping others, and isn’t that what heroes do?
How can I help Global Edutopia tell more stories?
You can share your stories with us! The more stories we can share with the world, the better. Grown-ups can also help us with donations, volunteering, and sharing creative work, so if you think that’s something your parents would like, let them know.
