Are you a grown-up?

This could be scary for kids.

“When I came up there, I saw the souls of the departed, whilst in those first three nights, the souls were seated on the top of their bodies where they had fallen dead, and the souls uttered those words of the Gatha: ‘Happiness comes to those who bring happiness to others.’

And in those three nights—the three nights that Soroush watches over the dead—so much comfort and enjoyment came to it, as all the delight it ever beheld in the world as a human.”.

And then the victorious Soroush the Pious and Azar the Angel took hold of my hands. Taking the first step with Good Thought, the second step in Good Word, and the third step with Good Deed, I came up to a terrifying cliff with a bridge that was not unlike a sharp sword.

As we approached the Chinvad Bridge, the bridge rolled to its side and became broad and strong and dust raised from everywhere. I praised the bridge created by Hormazd, which extends from the summit of the Alborz Mountains to the peak of the Daitik Mountains.

Then Viraf’s soul returned to his unconscious body on the seventh dayaround sunset. His soul warmed up his cold body, which was lying flat, and at this particular hour on evening on Mithras Day, Mehin noticed that Viraf’s body trembled
Then sisters ran toward the throne of Viraf as the orange rays were now piercing his white blanket as he stirred. Slowly his head emerged from under the blanket, and he struggled as he squirmed out of his cocoon, gasping for air. The sun had painted the Zagros Mountains, and Viraf squinted toward the golden clouds ablaze over the lemon groves in the distance. A sudden calm fell on the crowd, and as if everyone was struck on the back of their knees, they knelt just as Viraf was rising on his throne. Now, Viraf, the messenger breathed deeply and stretched his arms as if awakened from a pleasant sleep. The warm sun filled him with Vohuman and visible delight.

then the pious man’s soul asked the damsel: “Who art thou, whom, in the world of the living, my eyes have never seen a damsel more elegant, nor have my eyes beheld a more beautiful body than thine.”

“Though I have been unholy, I am made more unholy through thee; and though I have been frightful, I am made more frightful through thee; though I have been naughty, I am made naughtier through thee; though I am settled in the northern region of the demons, I am settled farther north through thee. I am complete through those evil thoughts, and through those evil words, and through those evil deeds, which thou practiced. I’m created from your sinful communion with the obscenity and wicked relationship of the Evil spirit.”
