📖 Literature: Many people believe that no one in Europe has ever created better stories than HOMER, who lived in Ancient Greece.
⚡ Mythology: Have you heard of stories of HERA, ZEUS, ODYSSEUS, or HERCULES? Greek mythology is very exciting to read.
🏛️ Democracy: This is a Greek word that means Government of the People.
💭 Philosophy: Greeks were among the first people to ask: “Where did we come from?” and “What is this world made of?”
🥙 Gyro: If you are not a vegetarian, Gyro is one of the best foods money can buy—or your Dad can make.
How about Mom? Well, she loves them too!

HER HAIR IS SNAKES!
Read this in a rough and gruff voice:
“Look into my eyes, Perseus,” shrieked Medusa.
“And I will turn you into stone.”
“I can hear your footsteps miles away! Come, Perseus! I will be waiting for you!”
The snakes on her head hissed and moved in every direction.
“The bravest, I have turned into stone. All you see of the ancient Greece is the work of Medusa.”
No one could kill Medusa, the monster—unless Greece helped Perseus.
