Prussia designed the foundation of the modern school system, and its legacy endures. The scantily-clothed sentinels of the kingdom look on as students pledge allegiance to the government that funds their education.

Horace Mann delivered this model to us, and more than 200 years later, we have yet to make meaningful improvements in the US. While this system may have served its purpose a century ago, it now stifles creativity, prioritizing conformity over intellectual exploration. The U.S. education system, in particular, urgently needs reform.
